This name is taken from his Live Action counterpart, Cha Yeong-Cheol.
Yeongcheol Cha is the father of Hyun Cha and Sua Cha. He used to work as a sales manager under Daon Kim's father.

Yeongcheol was a strict and hard-working man, clearly concerned with his family, getting angry at the thought of his son being a recluse and being partial to blame due to how busy he was with work, not being able to provide Hyun with proper guidance.
Plot[]
In the introductory chapter of the story, Yeongcheol is seen driving with his wife and Sua Cha as the passengers, towards a location they'll spend their vacation at.
During the drive they get in an argument over Hyun Cha's reclusive life style, which quickly dies down after Hyun Cha's mom suggests they stop arguing, to which, while compliant, Yeongcheol seems slightly frustrated, taking his attention off the roa Not seconds later, a truck driver seems to be getting the symptoms of monsterification, causing him to switch to the opposite lane, crashing the truck directly into the family car, inadvertently killing all of them.d.
