Appearance

Seop Anh was an elderly man. He was bald, had a small gray beard, and usually wore a vest-jacket over a white shirt with jeans. Despite his old age, he was still pretty agile, managing to fight alongside his younger companions and survivors.

Personality

Seop Anh is an elderly and wise man. He did care about the people around him and was willing to put his life on the line. He possessed a sense of courage, not fearing death, but this could have purely been bravado, as when confronted with the possibility of dying, he found himself scared. He had a dark sense of humor, pranking Wook Pyeon and Hyun Cha with hostility towards infected people.

Plot

Prior to the events of the series, Seop Ahn was a resident in Green Roof Apartments living in an unknown apartment with Yuri Park as his senior care aide.

Seop Anh first appears to save Hyun and Wook from the Tentacle Monster. He is able to deduce Hyun is infected and already has an accelerated healing ability, and pranks the duo by pretending to be hostile to them. After making amends he offers to accompany them. The group almost immediately run into a sleeping Speed Monster. While Hyun and Seop are able to sneak by it, Yuri unfortunately wakes it up and attacks it. Seop prepares to help, but Hyun asks him to go to Dusik Hahn's apartment. He agrees and meets up with the group there.

Later, as Mr. Kim is attacking the survivors in the lobby, Seop shows up just in time to save Eun Lee, whom he advises to run away. However, Seop notes the crossbow has no effect. Seop is in turn saved when Hyun and Jisu Yoon arrive.

Seop is assigned to a team of survivors to go to a nearby grocery and hospital to replenish food and medical supplies. The Steroid Monster attacks the group before they can make it out to the parking lot. Seop Ahn, realizing the end is about to be near for Hyun, throws Hyun out of the way, saying that it is not his time to die. The Steroid Monster then punched and crushes the entirety of Seop’s skull, bludgeoning him with his fist to death.
