Green Roof Apartments is an apartment complex in an unknown city in South Korea. It is the main setting of Sweet Home and appears once in Shotgun Boy.
Building Layout[]
The main building is a 15 story apartment. It has two elevators and a stairwell with rooftop access. It has a parking garage for residents. The lobby does not have any residential rooms, instead it has some closets, a large kitchen, and the security office. The lobby also has a convenience store. The front, back, and garage entrances can be shuttered through the security office.
Since the monster apocalypse, the survivors reside in the first and second floors, as those are the two safest floors. It is unknown how many monsters there are from the 5th floor up.
Floors & Locations[]
- Rooftop: In episode 3, Wook tries go here to smoke, but finds that the door is locked, with Eun criticizing him. This was likely locked by Mr. Kim. The rooftop was pierced by an unidentified female monster. as monsters flock to the green home, survivors escape through rooftops to the back mountains.
- 15th floor: Where Jisu Yoon (no. 1510) and Jayhun Jung (no. 1506) and Myeong-Ja Lim lived. It was here where the protein monsters got caught up in the taunts of the Starving monster and Jayhun, fell out of the building here.
- 14th floor: Hyun Cha (no. 1410) moved to this floor after the death of his family, and also lived with the girl next door (no. 1411), Wook Pyeon, and Dusik Hahn (no.1408). There are other survivors, but one or two meals and children on the 12th floor were isolated on this floor. The blind monster as well as the eyeball monster were the first to appear here. The eyeball monster "eyeball monster" had its head cut off in 1410, and the child monster was confined to the bathroom of room 1408. Yuri Park and her children eventually isolated from the burning floor and successfully in joining safely. After Ihyun Jo burned the child monster Cocoon, the bat ingot broke into the green home via 1408.
- 13th floor: The characters do not enter the floor, but just swerve. Slime Monster was produced here in no. 1310.
- 12th floor : Sook and Yeong Kim are isolated in no. 1210 after the death of their father and are rescued by suspension. The Steroid monster also appear on this layer for the first time, and liquid ingots are also upstairs before descending here.
- 11th floor: Jisu and Jayhun hide in room 1107 after the monstrous crisis, and then come out and join the strings as the battle between the strings and the muscle ingots breaks out outside. The Speed monster first appeared on the stairs between the 10th and 11th floors, where there was a battle between it and Hyun.
- 10th floor: The floor itself appears to have been slaughtered by a fairly powerful monster due to the thick flow of blood under the door. The strings, Jisu, and rededication that were going down to the first floor also did not enter, ominously, seeing the bloodsuckers flowing under the door. Wook and Hyun chaentered this floor to defeat the tentacle monster. However, as tentacle monster evolve, it is driven to the brink, and thanks to Seop Ahn and Yuri Park, they are killed.
- 9th Floor: The Tentacle monster appeared on this floor for the first time, and Hyun and his colleagues meet for the first time here with a group of survivors on the first floor. Here, a party died from the tentacle monster while trying to save Hyun.
- 8th floor : In the series we see Hyuk pressing the button of the elevator. When we look above the buttons, you can see the number 8, which could be a sign that he and his sister, Eun, live on the 8th floor.
- 7th floor : As soon as Hyun and Wook came up here, they came to explore monsters, and they lived in the days when land monsters were humans.
- 6th floor: Where Ihyun Jo and Hyun stopped by when they cleaned up the remaining monsters. Ihyun found out about the existence of the baby monster in 1408 through the communication between their souls and picked up the cocooned baby monster, which soon led to the monster being called back in.
- 5th floor: Hyun and Wook go back up to the 14th floor and fight a Reach Monster along the way.
- 4th floor: Where Wook Eun confronted a blind monster. Later, while Gapsu Seo was monitoring the place, he encountered a mysterious woman, but he was attacked by a bat monster and started to become a monster. Hyein tried to kill the woman, while Gapsu was hit by Jisu's bat and died.
- 3rd floor : The first floor rescue team completes the search here without much work. later, Hyun and Face Monster face off here, and it is killed by Hyun.
- 2nd floor: The first floor rescue team used room 212 as a corpse enshrinement room after a search and are wiped out by a guard monster. Jayhun Jung and another survivor also die here.
- Lobby on the first floor: Where most survivors gather, there is also a control room (control room) that controls the shutters in the building and a convenience store that supplies food, which serves as a very important "safe zone" for survival. A place that confronted a monster at the beginning of the plot. later, there was a commotion of guard monsters. the gate was blocked by barricades, but it was collapsed by horn monsters and invaded by monsters. and constant and Hoyeon Baek die. there are no more monsters.
- underground parking lot: In episode 8, the metaphor mentions that the underground parking lot is blocked. In episode 57, eun hyuk says the underground parking lot was pierced by monsters. however, in episode 75, Hyun, Jisu, Hyuk, Eun, Seop and Yuri destroy the monsters in the underground parking lot, and then in episode 78, one or two cars in the parking lot are converted into armored vehicles. after that, it is a dedicated work room with one or two meals. and then a monster appears, one or two dies, and there it burns with fire.
