Eun is a young child in, presumably, her early teens. She is much shorter than other people around her. She has a fair complexion and red hair that extends to her lower back. She usually wears her hair down, but has also put it up in a ponytail. During her time in Green Roof, she wore a yellow shirt with black pants.

Personality

Eun is a calm girl and appears serene above all

Background

Lee Childhood

Shortly after being born, Eun and Hyuk's mother died. Only a few years later, their father's company goes bankrupt and the two are left at an orphanage, and their stay becomes permanent when their father dies in an accident. At the time, Eun was still very young; however, she did not appear to take the events well as she started an underage smoking habit. She and Hyuk eventually move to Green Home; in addition, she met some friends of Hyuk such as Gyuhwan, but she didn't have a good relationship with him.

Plot

Eun is first seen trying to get to the roof when she runs into Wook Pyeon. She quickly leaves when Wook calls her out on underage smoking. She then goes to the lobby when people begin noticing they've been locked inside the building. As Seok Kim goes to open the shutters, Eun sees the Tongue Monster, unnerved by its appearance. She is then horrified when it kills a bystander. After Hyuk and Wook force the monster outside, Eun joins a rescue party to clear each floor, taking on the job of incinerating any monster they beat. One such monster is the Blind Monster. She listens, though is embarrassed by, Hyuk's explanation of the monsters.

After rescuing Hyun Cha, Eun greets him, though the two don't interact much as Hyuk gives him a tour. Eun then overhears Hyuk talking to the other rescued survivors, and wonders why Hyuk is so callous in speech. Dusik Hahn is eventually rescued and restores power to the elevator. However, Eun is the first to notice the elevator began moving without any of the survivors in the lobby hitting the button, putting everyone on alert. The culprit is Mr. Kim, which Eun immediately recognizes as a monster. However, she is unable to fight back and is paralyzed with fear. She can only watch in horror as Mr. Kim begins killing any survivor brave enough to fight him. She is eventually saved by Seop Ahn and runs away. After this fight, she helps clean the mess as Hyuk wonders why it is so quiet outside. Eun berates Hyuk for callously asking Hyun to go outside. Hyuk, however, turns the tables by asking Eun why she sticks up for Hyun so much, having figured out Eun has a crush on him. Eun, however, is extremely embarrassed by this.

Eun goes to help save the supply team when the Steroid Monster attacks, only to be saved by a group of criminals instead. She listens in on Hyunshik's story, and is the only survivor to notice Hyunshik is trying to turn the survivors against each other. She keeps to herself as the criminals attempt to establish a base in the apartment. She hides in a bathroom stall when monsters begin overrunning the lobby and is prepared to incinerate one on sight. Hyun manages to find her before the monsters do. An emotional Eun breaks down and cries as she is relieved to see Hyun. She begins climbing up the stairs to survive, demanding that Hyun come with them. However, Hyun departs in an attempt to save Dusik.

She and the other make it to the roof. Eun helps hold off the monsters, but is shocked when they suddenly retreat. After Hyuk successfully sets up the escape rope, Eun and Yeong use it to tether to safety. However, Hyuk's parting words worries Eun, who realizes Hyuk may be turning and is devastated to think he may not come with them. She is left to helplessly watch Hyein Son plummet to her death. She is then worried and confused at the large commotion going on at the roof, only to be completely devastated to learn that her brother and Hyun did not make it.

Eun and the others eventually find a survivor camp operated by the remnants of the military and other survivors. Eun trains to fight monsters using an improvised spear. She is one of the survivors to greet Hyun as he re-unites with the others.

Relationships

Hyuk Lee

Hyuk is Eun's older brother. They appear to be distant, and Eun is particularly annoyed with Hyuk's nerdiness and abrasive attitude. However, Eun doesn't hate Hyuk either. Eun does care for Hyuk, as she was extremely worried when Hyuk nearly died, and was equally as worried when she realized Hyuk was saying his final good-bye. Eun carries the memory of Hyuk heavily on her mind.

Hyun Cha

Eun was one of the few survivors that did not show any sign of hostility towards Hyun at the start. In fact, she secretly harbors a crush towards him, which is something that Hyuk notices and teases her about. She was very relieved to see Hyun come rescue her, hugging him.

After Hyun returns from being monsterfied , Eun was one of the many survivors of Green Roof Apartments to be pleased to see him again

Wook Pyeon

Initially, Wook was annoyed with Eun because of her nickname for him. However, the two would prove to be good buddies during monster hunts. After their escape from Green Home, Wook appeared to help console Eun.

Gyuhwan Han

Supposedly, Eun hates Hyuk's best friend because of his nerdiness.

Equipment

  • Lighter and aerosol gas can: Eun has a lighter as she is an underage smoker. At the onset of the apocalypse she also gets an aerosol spray can and uses the two items as a makeshift flamethrower to kill monsters.
  • Spear: After escaping, Eun was seen training with a spear.
