Director Lee

Director Lee was the director of Yeongchan High.

Appearance[]

Director Lee was a middle aged, overweight man who started balding. He was seen wearing a blue polo shirt.

Background[]

Director Lee supposedly served in the Marines at some point in his life (despite having horrible marksmanship).

Personality[]

Director Lee has shown louse with duties as school director. He was clearly a cowardly, perverted and selfish man who drank on his job, stalked underage girls and made racist comments.

His true colors were shown even more after the monsters make their debut. On multiple attempts, he attempts to steal Gyuhwan's shotgun for himself, pretending he'll protect others. He also pushed a teacher to his death, having hoped he could save him. He even outright felt relieved that the monsters were attacking other students instead of him.

Plot[]

Director Lee was first seen on the retreat grounds, helping line the students up. He was later seen in the faculty lounge, losing a card game against Jayden. He then asked Suyeon if she wanted to see the talent show, but she denied.

Lee was present in the gym when the monsters attacked. When they got surrounded, Lee forced the PE Teacher to deal with them, but he got killed by 04 instead. After Gyuhwan appeared in the gym with a shotgun and killed a monster, causing the others to flee, Lee rudely questioned where Gyuhwan got the gun and where he had been. He was also shown getting frustrated when Jayden couldn't get a signal. Lee then tried to take the gun from Gyuhwan, so he threatened to him. While Director Lee was telling him that he won't do such a thing, Seonyeob informed him otherwise. He stayed behind in the lounge with Seonyeob, Ms. Kim, Jongpil, Ms. Ahn and two other students, while Gyuhwan's group went out. Unfortunately, 05 found their hiding spot because of a student and began to attack, killing the two unnamed students. When Gyuhwan seemed unwilling to save his classmates and teachers, Lee demanded him to shoot the monster. Gyuhwan eventually decided to save them due to Shinyeong's advice and prepared to shoot 05, giving him and the other survivors the chance to escape.

After escaping, Seonyeob and Director Lee were hiding in the woods, waiting for a chance to steal Gyuhwan's shotgun from him. When they pounced at him, he was quickly knocked back by Gyuhwan. During the commotion, 04 found them. Lee used that chance to knock Gyuhwan and grab his gun and start shooting at 04, missing all five shots. Finally, 04 charged into him, killing him.

They were both work colleagues, but didn't have extreme interactions with eachother, although Suyeon secretly hated him due to him having the idea of the school going to the camp. After his death, she continually kicks and insult his corpse in anger for "bringing her into this mess."

The first time they are seen together they are talking in the staff room when Suyeon shows her disinterest in going to see her students talent show, to which he expresses with a smugly says they should go because the kids worked so hard at the talent show. Suyeon is somewhat surprised and uncomfortable at his answer.
